VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE WINTER SESSION OF THE FIRST SHIFT PROGRAM

The program is designed for kids 6-10. The CANADIAN TIRE FIRST SHIFT program is designed to ensure a positive experience for new-to-hockey families. We want families to experience the game at its best — to understand why so many Canadians feel an inherent love for the sport, and to stimulate a desire for continued participation. We want to take away any intimidation as it relates to equipment requirements, and/or rules of the game, remove potential safety concerns, and most importantly, provide an experience that is memorable and fun.

The welcome event is Tuesday Feb 12, 6:30 pm Countryside Arena

Program dates are as follows:
February 23 – Countryside Arena Rink #2 – 815-915AM
March 2 – Countryside Arena Rink #2 – 915-1015AM
March 9 – Countryside Arena Rink #1 – 100-200PM
March 16 – Countryside Arena Rink #2 – 915-1015AM
March 23 – Countryside Arena Rink #2 – 915-1015AM
March 30 – Coniston Arena – 130-230PM
