SMHA Board of Directors are opening up applications for our AA & A Programs for the upcoming season. Although there is uncertainty with the Covid 19 Pandemic we want to start the process in order to be able transition once there is direction from the NOHA and Hockey Canada.

There will be no in-person interviews at the moment and the SMHA Board of Directors will phone candidates to complete the interview process.

The objective is to announce Coaching Staffs within the first two weeks of May 2020. The deadline for applications will be April 19, 2020 at 7:00pm.

The SMHA Novice Tier 2 Canadiens showed their spirit of giving by donating the funds that were meant for their year end party to the Sudbury Foodbank! Good job, Canadiens!

Congratulations to Noah Beaulne of the Sudbury Wolves Minor Midget AAA team! He was drafted by the Kingston Frontenacs at the 2020 OHL Priority Selection Draft. Way to go Noah!!!

AAA Coaching Applications 2020/2021 Season

SMHA Board of Directors are opening applications for our AAA Programs. This year SMHA Board of Directors have identified and approached Non Parent Coaches to lead our teams. We would like to take this opportunity to allow for any other applicants to put their name forward to apply to coach or join an existing staff.

SMHA Board of Directors have changed this process in order to have the ability to approach and recruit coaches with the proper qualifications.

On August 20th, 2018, the SMHA Board of Directors motioned to retain MLA Law to review and rewrite the SMHA Constitution. This work is now complete and the new Constitution will be presented at the AGM for member approval. The new Constitution will be posted to this post next week. Please review in preparation for the AGM.
