DELTA BINGO & GAMING JOINS FORCES WITH THE COMMUNITY FOR LOCAL FOOD DRIVE INITIATIVE
Throughout the month of December, Delta Bingo & Gaming locations across the province are collecting non-perishable food items for local organizations this holiday season.
“Community support is needed now more than ever,” says Cam Johnstone, CEO, Delta Bingo & Gaming. “We’ve been an active part of communities across Ontario for over 50 years and given the impact COVID has had on so many, we want to give back in every way we can.”
Bring a non-perishable food item to any Delta Bingo & Gaming location from now until January 3rd to join in on this initiative. For each donated item, you will receive a ballot for a chance to win big prizes, including a 65" Samsung TV.
Collected items will be donated to a number of local organizations, including food banks, women’s shelters and other crucial support centres and programs.
Despite company-wide closures at the onset of the pandemic, Delta Bingo & Gaming remained committed to supporting the community by donating 10,000 face shields to front-line workers. Since then, thousands of dollars have been raised for charity through gaming revenue generated in the centre. Since modernizing, Delta Bingo & Gaming has raised over $150 million for key community initiatives and currently partners with over 950 local charity organizations.
