Hello everyone,

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate the unpredictability of Covid.

We are just as excited as you are to re-open our Arena facilities beginning this Monday, January 31 2022! As per Provincial directives, we are opening at 50% capacity indoors for participants on the ice and spectators in the stands and will be returning to Full Game Play. For those of you involved in the Shinny Program, this will also resume. Updated Ice User Guidelines are attached and come into effect Monday, January 31, 2022. We also wanted to highlight a few important reminders: Proof of Vaccination – Effective January 4th, 2022, the ONLY proof of vaccination that is accepted is the Enhanced Vaccination Certificate. This can be shown on your mobile device or with a printed copy. The QR code must be clear and able to be scanned.

Proper ID – Identification presented upon entrance must be a Government issued ID and include Date of Birth and Full Name (student cards are not accepted).

Safety Plans – A detailed Covid Safety Plan is required for your association and/or Group, Hockey, or Skating school and a copy must be provided to icebookings@greatersudbury.ca

Arena Capacities – Capacities are currently at 50% and each Arena varies in size. Please keep this in mind when attending an arena to view a game. We are limited to the number of people permitted.

Spectators – Family and friends attending as spectators for your ice bookings are required to adhere to the Arena and Covid Guidelines and Policies.

Masks – Masks are required to be worn at all times by everyone in the facility and must cover the nose and mouth, unless engaged in intense physical activity. Certain

Ice User Agreements – For those with current contracts with Ice Time on Monday, January 31st, you are scheduled to use this ice. If you need to cancel your ice for this day, please notify icebookings@greatersudbury.ca right away. February contracts will be sent out over the next few days – please be sure to review and inform of any changes required right away to icebookings@greatersudbury.ca

Zero Tolerance – Failure to follow guidelines and policies (including those for spectators) could result in immediate ejection from the facility and future booking privileges revoked. The City of Greater Sudbury may cancel future bookings without refunds.

We will follow up on any additional requirements or updates when received from the Province and/or Public Health.

We look forward to seeing everyone!

All the best,

Jody
